Travis Burlison
Travis Burlison: Owner/ Operator of Burlison Home Services. The original Friendly Metalhead Handyman. Travis started working at the age of 12 pushing a lawn mower around the trailer park every Saturday in Oklahoma to buy an NES and 13 inch tv to play on. In the more than 20 years since he has worked in the food, manufacturing, and construction industries. Building things and learning how things work has been a life long passion for him. (Ask him about the hacksaw and the RC car when he was 5.) Sometimes to help him pay rent he would do handyman jobs for his landlord/ property manager. After years of renting, and 5 years as an electrician, he saw a huge lack of skilled and ethical handyman service providers that valued quality of work and reliability above all else. Thus, BHS was born.
When not operating and building BHS, Travis enjoys metal music, concerts, going out for a few beers (no one drinks just one), spending time with his daughter, gaming on his Xbox, reading fantasy novels. and being an absolute goof.
